Section 1 in Punjab One-time Voluntary Disclosure and Settlement of Building constructed in Violations of the Building Bye-laws Act, 2019
1. Short title, application and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Punjab One-time Voluntary Disclosure and Settlement of Building constructed in Violations of the Building Bye-laws Act, 2019.(2)It shall come into force on and with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.(3)This Act shall be applicable in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Improvement Trusts in the State of Punjab.(4)It shall cease to operate on the expiry of one year from the date of its commencement, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such cesser, and upon such cesser section 4 of the Punjab General Clauses Act, 1898 shall apply.
