(1)No person shall get on or off a cage or other means of conveyance after the same has been signaled to be set in motion or leave it until it has reached the appointed stopping place; nor shall any person ride on the top or edge of any cage or other means of conveyance except when engaged in an examination, repair or any other work in the shaft.
