ORDER
Mr.K.V.Dhanapalan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The prayer in the writ petition is for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 05.08.2014 submitted by the petitioner.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent acquired certain lands of the petitioner in Kollar Village for expansion of the SIPCOT Industrial Park. According to the petitioner, while acquiring the same, the first respondent have also acquired the lands of the petitioner, where the well is situated for cultivating his lands. Hence, he made a representation to the respondents to acquire the lands other than the Survey No.214/3 measuring 84 ares or in the alternative to de-notify the 33 cents of land in and around the well situated in the said survey number. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.
4. Having regard to the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
