Section 1013(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)Revolvers, when not in use, and revolver ammunition shall remain in the care of an Armed Inspector in a locked chest or almirah in the magazine. The chest or almirah shall be approved of by the Superintendent, a copy of the approval being pasted inside the box or almirah.
