Section 4(b) in The Mizoram Aided College Employees Rules, 1990
(b)Candidates for other teaching staff except the Demonstrator of Science Laboratory shall have the following qualifications :(i)The minimum qualification for appointment as lecturer is high second class Master Degree in the relevant subject with a uniformly good academic record from H.S.L.C. examination upwards and with an aggregate mark of 55% in Master Degree examination of any recognised University in India and abroad ;(ii)Desirable. Other things remaining equal, preference will be given to holders of the degrees of the Doctor of Philosophy of the Master of Philosophy in the relevant subject;(iii)Age limit for the posts of other teaching staff is as prescribed by Government from time to time.
