Section 21(1) in The Merchant Shipping (Fire Appliances) Rules, 1969
(1)Every ship of Class VI shall carry one firemen's outfit for each 30 metres (or part thereof) of the registered length of the ship and shall comply with the requirements of rule 44 provided that no such ship shall be required to carry more than three such outfits.
