Section 54B(3) in The Assam Co-operative Societies Rules, 1953
(3)When a mortgage deed is executed by a member mortgaging his land as tenant the society shall cause to deliver all the three copies of the registering authority within the local limits of whose jurisdiction whole or any part of the mortgage land is situated within ten days of execution of the mortgage deed.
