(1)The Government may, after consultation with the Municipal Council and subject to the provisions of section 8 and section 10 by notification declare its intention, -(a)to include within a smaller urban area, any area adjacent thereto; or(b)to exclude from a smaller urban area, any area comprised therein; or(c)to specify a small urban area to be a transitional area; or(d)to withdraw a smaller urban area altogether from the operation of this Act.
