Section 32(1) in The West Bengal Factories Rules, 1958
(1)Where any source of artificial light in the factory is less than [4.9] [Substituted by W. B. Factories Amendment Rules, 1991,] meters above floor level, no part of the light source or of the lighting fitting having a brightness greater than [1.55] [Substituted by W. B. Factories Amendment Rules, 1991,] Candles per sq. c.m. shall be visible to persons whilst normally employed with [30] [Substituted by W. B. Factories Amendment Rules, 1991,] meters of the source, except where the angle of elevation from the eye to the source or part of the fitting, as the case may be, exceeds 20 degrees.
