Section 98 in The Navy (Pension) Regulations, 1964
98. Scale of special pension and gratuity.
- The scales of special pension and gratuity shall be:| QualifyingService | Scale |
| A-Specialpension | |
| Fifteenyears or more | Pensionat the rates specified in regulation 86. |
| Tenyears or more but less than fifteen years. | Thepension which bears the same ratio to the minimum servicepension under regulation 86, as the completed years ofqualifying service bears to fifteen. |
| B.Special gratuity | |
| Fiveyears or more but less than ten years. | Gratuityat the rate of one and one-third month's pay for such completedyear of qualifying service. |
| Lessthan five years. | Gratuityequal to three month's pay. |
