Section 30(g) in The Assam Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1960
(g)No staircase, landing lobby, corridor or passage, not being an internal passage between rows of seats, intended for use as an exit shall be less than 5 feet wide and there shall be no recesses or projections in the walls of such passengers, gangways or corridors within 5 feet of the ground.
