Section 17(2) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(2)[ The corporation shall place at the disposal of the Mayor annually by way of sumptuary allowance such sum not exceeding the limit as may be prescribed:Provided that the limit so prescribed shall not be more than rupees twenty-five thousand and different limits may be prescribed for different corporations.] [Substituted by Act 32 of 1986 w.e.f.17.6.1986.]
