                      WRIT PETITION NO: 16501 of 2020

ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

"...pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not sending the body of the Petitioner's father for postmortem after exhuming as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the Respondents to conduct postmortem on the body of the Petitioner's father for determining the cause of death and take further action and pass....."

2. None represented for the petitioner.

3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the postmortem has been conducted on the body of the deceased as sought for in the present petition.

4. Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
