O R D E R
Heard Mr. Pradhuman Gohil, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Gaurav Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent. An order has been passed on 1.7.2016, relevant part of which, reads as follows :

“9. Whereas the case records, along with the Digitally signed by GULSHAN KUMAR ARORA Date: 2016.07.06 14:45:59 IST Reason: said representation dated 21.06.2016, were placed before a duly constituted Standing Appellate Committee held on 23.06.2016 for recommendation. The recommendation of SAC as under:-2
Recommendation:
In response to the letter of institute dated June 21, 2016, the competent authority has approved to put up the case before the SAC for a relook.
On the basis of case file and on the basis of documents that are presented before the Committee, it is recommended that EOA for A.Y. 2016-17 be processed with 20% reduction in intake as per procedure.”
10. Therefore, after examination of the entire matter in the facts and circumstances mentioned herein above, and based on the recommendation the Standing Appellate Committee dated 23.06.2016, the Council has decided to issue Extension of Approval for A/Y 2016-17 with 20% reduction in intake to the said S.P.B. Patel Engineering College (PID 1-2902541). Accordingly corrigendum with 20% reduction in intake for A/Y 2016-17 has been issued vide F. No. Central/ 1-2812355316/2016/EOA dated 01.07.16 on AICTE web-portal.” In view of the aforesaid, Mr. Gohil would submit that he would not intend to press the writ petition.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
