Section 4(7)(a) in Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules, 2003

(a)Any person aggrieved by the order of the Sub-district or Taluk Registrar under sub-rule (5) or sub-rule (6), may prefer an appeal within thirty days from the date of such order, to the District Registrar of Citizen Registration.
