Section 18 in The Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904
18. Successors.
(1)In any Bombay Act [or Maharashtra Act] [These words were inserted by the Maharashtra Adaptation of Laws (State and Concurrent Subjects) Order, 1960.] made after the commencement of this Act it shall be sufficient, for the purpose of indicating the relation of a law to the successors of any functionaries or of corporations having perpetual succession, to express its relation to the functionaries or corporations.(2)This section applies also to all Bombay Acts made before the commencement of this Act.
