Section 16(2B) in All India Services (Death-Cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 1958
(2B)[ (a) The notice of voluntary retirement given in writing by the member of the service under sub-rule (2) and (2A), may be withdrawn by the member of service.(b)Request for withdrawal of notice of voluntary retirement shall be submitted to the Competent Authority within the period specified in the said notice.
