Section 21(1) in Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965
(1)Every casual vacancy in the office of an elected member of a municipality shall be reported by the Commissioner to the State Election Commission within fifteen days from the date of occurrence of such vacancy and shall be filled within four months from that date.
