Section 23(1) in The West Bengal Premises Requisition And Control (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1947

(1)On the expiry of the West Bengal Premises (Requisition and Eviction) Ordinance, 1947, the provisions of section 8 of the Bengal General Clauses Act, 1899, shall apply as if it were an enactment then repealed by a West Bengal Act.
