Section 3(1) in Punjab Military Transport Act, 1916
(1)All animals, vehicles and boats, together with gear and equipment for the same, shall be liable to be impressed for military transport, whether for service within or without the limits of India, in accordance with the provisions of this Act.Explanation. - "Vehicles" shall be deemed to include also doilies, dandies, jhampans and palkies.
