Section 4(vi) in Andhra Pradesh Elementary Teacher Training Institutions/District Institutes of Education and Training (Regulation of Admissions into Diploma in Education course through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(vi)Candidates belonging to "OC" and "BC" communities shall secure at least 35% marks (35/100) in DIET CET for assigning merit Rank in the CET or as per scheme of entrance test prescribed by Government from time to time to become eligible for admission. However there shall be no minimum qualifying marks in respect of SC/ST candidates for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories.
