Section 499 in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
499. Prohibition against obstruction of municipal authorities, servants and contractors.
- No person shall obstruct or molest the council, any standing committee or other committee constituted under this Act, the Mayor or Deputy Mayor, any councillor, the Commissioner or any person employed by the corporation or any person with whom the Commissioner has entered into a contract on behalf of the corporation in the performance of its or his duty or of anything which it or he is empowered or required to do by virtue, or in consequence of this Act or of any rule, by-law, regulation or order made thereunder.
