Section 93 in U.P. Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules, 2009
93. Storage of materials or articles.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that -(a)all materials or articles are not stored or kept on platform floor or stairways of building being demolished :Provided that this clause shall not apply to the floor of a building when such floor is of such strength as to support safely the load to be superimposed by storing such materials or article;(b)an access to any stairway or passageway is not affected or blocked by storing any material or article;(c)suitable barricades are provided so as to prevent materials or articles from sliding or rebounding into any space used by the building workers.
