Section 9(1) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960
(1)No person shall be deemed to be qualified to hold the office of Vice-Chancellor unless such person-(i)Is above forty years of age ; and(ii)Is, in the opinion of the Chancellor, a man noted for scholarship and academic interest.
