74. Material and strength .-(1) All conductors of overhead lines other than those specified in sub-rule (1) of rule 86 shall have a breaking strength of not less than 350 kg.
(2)Where the voltage is low and the span is of less than 15 metres (50 ft.) and is on the owner's or consumer's premises, a conductor having an actual breaking strength of not less than 150 kg may be used.
