Section 7(1) in The Jammu and Kashmir Advocates Welfare Fund Act, 1997
(1)Any member nominated under clause (c) or clause (d) of sub-section (3) of section 5 may resign his office by giving one month's notice in writing to the Government or the Bar Council, as the case may be and such resignation being accepted by the Government or the Bar Council shall be deemed to have vacated his office :Provided that the Bar Council shall consult the Government before accepting the resignation.
