3. Revenue Survey.
- The operation carried out in accordance with the provisions of these Rules in order to admeasure land and for the preparation and preservation of record of rights connected therewith or for any other similar purpose in any local area is called a revenue survey. Such survey may extend to the lands of any village, town or city, generally or to such land as the Government may direct.
