Section 2(e) in The M.P. Upcharyagriha Tatha Rujopchar Sambandhi Sthapanaye (Registrikaran Tatha Anugyapan) Rules, 1997
(e)"Local area" means the area comprised within the local limits of Municipal Corporation or a Municipality or a Nagar Panchayat constituted under the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1956 or the Madhya Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1961, as the case may be or any other area declared to be a local area for the purposes of this Act by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette;
