Information Sought:
The appellant has sought the following information:
1. Name of all the candidates who appeared before Selection Committee for promotion under CAS from Associate Professor (Stage 4) to Professor (Stage 5) in Computer Science subject (Department of Electronics and Communication) on 07/07/2018.1
2. A copy of the proceedings of the meeting of the Selection Committee held for promotion under CAS from Associate Professor (Stage 4) to Professor (Stage 5) in Computer Science subject (Department of Electronics and Communication) held on 07/07/2018.
Grounds for Second Appeal The CPIO did not provide the desired information within the time limit.
Submissions made by Appellantand Respondent during Hearing:
The Commission is in receipt of a letter from the appellant on 29.09.2020 wherein she has prayed for withdrawal of the appeals as she has received all the relevant information from the respondent authority in the month of February 2020 after filing of the second appeals.
Observations:
From the letter received from the appellant it is clear that the appellant is satisfied with the information received and thus is no longer interested in pursuing her cases.
Decision:
The Commission accepts the request of the appellant and closes the cases.
The appeals are disposed of accordingly.
