Section 10(6)(a) in The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Act, 1998

(a)The Chancellor shall have the right to cause an inspection to be made, by such person or persons or body of persons, as he may direct, of the University, its buildings, hospitals, libraries, museums, workshops and equipments of any college, institution or hostel maintained, administered or recognised by the University and of the teaching and other work conducted by or on behalf of the University or under its auspices of and of the conduct of examinations or other functions of the University and to cause an inquiry to be made in like manner regarding any matter connected with the administration or finances of the University;
