16. [ Use of Coupons.] [Substituted vide Punjab Government Gazette Extra dated 23.12.1981]
- No rail travel coupons shall be used for any other purpose except for the purpose of exchanging them for passenger ticket at the booking office of the Railway concerned for journeys in India and the coupons shall not in any circumstances be accepted by the Railway Administration concerned towards payment of any other charges, such as luggage charges, excess fares, penalties, reservation fees, supplementary charge on superfast trains, etc.
