                                 ORDER

This appeal by the assessee is directed against the order dated 13.3.2014, passed by the Commissioner of Income-tax, Vijayawada under S.263 of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

2. At the time of hearing, the learned counsel for the assessee submitted that consequent upon the order passed by the revisional authority, the Assessing Officer completed the assessment, wherein the assessee obtained substantial relief; therefore, the assessee is not interested in pursuing the appeal filed against the order under S.263 of the Act. In short, the assessee seeks permission to withdraw the appeal filed before the Appellate Tribunal. Learned Departmental Representative has no objection in this regard. Under these circumstances, I permit the assessee to withdraw his appeal, and dismiss the appeal as withdrawn.

3. As pronounced in the open court at the conclusion of hearing, appeal of the assessee is dismissed.
