Section 2(1)(a) in Hosur City Municipal Corporation Act, 2019

(a)"city of Hosur" or "city" means the local area comprised in the Hosur municipality and includes any local area which, after the date of the commencement of this Act, is include ed in the city but does not include any local area which, after such date of the commencement of this Act, is exclude from the city;
