20. Powers of Divisional Inspectors, District Educational Officers, Inspectresses and other Gazetted Inspecting Officers.
- Divisional Inspectors, District Educational Officers, Inspectresses and other Gazetted inspecting officer may appoint, teachers, clerks and servants subordinate to them and whose appointments vest in them; Divisional Inspectors may also exercise similar powers with reference to inspecting and other officers subordinate to them under the powers delegated to them by the Director. In making appointments and promotions, care should be taken to see that the conditions prescribed in the statutory rules are fulfilled.
