Section 85(1)(a) in The Manipur Co-operative Societies Act, 1976

(a)no order of appointment of the costs shall be made under this section, unless the society or persons or the legal representative of the deceased person liable to pay the costs thereunder; has or have been heard, or has or have had a reasonable opportunity of being heard;
