Section 29 in The Maharashtra Borstal Schools Rules, 1965
29. Hours of work.
- All inmates, provided they are medically fit shall be required to labour for nine hours on every working day. The day's work shall ordinarily be divided as follows| (a) | Drill and Physical exercises | 1 hour. |
| (b) | Recreation | 1 hour. |
| (c) | Literary instructions | 2 hours. |
| (d) | Manual Work (including agriculture) | 5 hours. |
