Section 17(1) in Tamil Nadu Town Panchayat Establishment (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1988
(1)Against any order of the appointing authority imposing a penalty after following the procedure prescribed in rule 16, an appeal shall lie to the, Director of Town Panchayats, Madras.
