- Inpectors are authorized to take the written statements of witnesses and all persons immediately concerned with the accident. In order to comply with the provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 18, the Inspector shall present to the owner or person in charge of the economizer a series of written questions on all points that are material to the inquiry.
