Section 16 in The Maharashtra Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 2006
16. Protection of action taken in good faith. —
No suit, prosecution or other proceeding shall lie against the State Government or the local authority or any officer or other employee of the State Government or the local authority or any other person authorized by the State Government for anything which is in good faith done, or intended to be done under this Act or the rules made or directions issued, thereunder.
