53. Bar to suit and other legal proceedings.-(1) No suit or other legal
proceeding shall lie against the State Government in respect of an act done in theexercise of the powers conferred by this Act or the rules made thereunder.(2)No suit or other proceeding shall be maintainable against the Board or anymember or any officer or servant of the Board or any person acting under the directionof the Board or of the Chairperson or of any officer or servant of the Board in respect ofanything done lawfully and in good faith and with reasonable care and attention underthis Act or rules or regulations made thereunder.
