Section 1118(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)A register in B. P. Form No. 210 shall be maintained in the office of the Superintendent of absconding offenders whose homes are within the district, that is, whose names find entry in part I of the police-station registers. Entries shall be made police-station by police-station. The beginning of the register shall contain an index and the end of the register shall contain a list of absconders who have committed crime in the district, but whose homes are outside the district, that is, those whose names are entered in Part II of the police-station registers.
