> Title: The Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs and Minister of Civil Aviation laid a statement regarding status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 3rd Report of Standing Committee on External Affairs on Demands for Grants (2010-11), pertaining to the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs.
THE MINISTER OF OVERSEAS INDIAN AFFAIRS AND MINISTER OF CIVIL AVIATION (SHRI VAYALAR RAVI): I beg to lay a Statement under Direction 73A of the Speaker on the status of implementation of the recommendations contained in the 3rd Report of the Standing committee on External Affairs.
The 3rd Report of the Standing committee on External Affairs on the Demands for Grants 2010-2011 was presented to the Lok Sabha on 20th April, 2010 and laid in Rajya Sabha on 20th April, 2010. Action Taken Replies (ATR) of the Government on the recommendations/observations of the Committee were sent to the Committee on 26th July, 2010.
As required, the present status of implementation of the recommendations of the 3rd Report of the Standing committee is detailed at the Annexure which is laid on the Table of the House.
