Section 24 in The Government Of Union Territories Act, 1963
24. Procedure as to lapsing of Bills.
(1)A Bill pending in the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65, for "a Union territory" (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)] shall not lapse by reason of the prorogation of the Assembly.(2)A Bill which is pending in the Legislative Assembly of [the Union territory] [Substituted by Act 18 of 1987, Section 65, for "a Union territory" (w.e.f. 30-5-1987)] shall lapse on a dissolution of the Assembly.
