Section 204(7) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(7)Officers actually selected to fill appointments to be taken up in time of war or emergency, shall undergo such instruction as may be considered necessary to fit them for the duties they are called upon to perform. For attendance at such courses of instruction such officers shall be entitled to :(a)pay in accordance with sub-regulation (6),(b)travelling expenses.(c)accommodation when available, if desired.Plain clothes may be worn by such officers and no outfit allowance shall be given to them.
