The Court : This is an amendment application in the election petition. Affidavit-in-opposition to such amendment application filed by the respondent no.1 is taken on record. The said affidavit-in-opposition, however, has not been served and is made over to the Advocate-on-Record of the petitioner in course of the hearing.
It is submitted by the Advocate for the respondent no.1 that the Advocate-on-Record for the respondent no.1 made several attempts to serve the affidavit-in-opposition which was affirmed on 28th January, 2020 but such efforts were in vein.
Be that as it may, the time to file affidavit-in-reply by the petitioner is extended till 28th February, 2020. Let this matter appear in the monthly list of March, 2020.
