                                             ORDER

1. The appellant filed an RTI application dated 30.11.2011 addressed to the CPIO, Dept. of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi seeking information with regard to N.H.D.P project executed in NH66 (Pondicherry to Tindivanam section K.M 3/600 to K.M 37/920 wherein the appellant has sought information on (6) points & its sub points. The CPIO, MoRTH sought payment of necessary fees vide letter dated 9.12.2011 and the fees was paid along with letter dated 11.1.2012. The said RTI application was transferred to the NHAI vide letter dated 4.1.2012, the same was then transferred to Project Director, PIO, Chennai vide letter dated 25.1.2012. On non receipt of information, the appellant filed first appeal dated 15.3.2012. The CPIO, PIU- Viluppuram provided a reply to the appellant vide letter dated 15.5.2012. The first appeal was transferred to the CGM (LA), NHAI, Dwarka vide letter dated 8.5.2012 which was disposed off vide order dated 9.7.2012.

2. The issue pertains to the specification of land under acquisition and the appellant seeks answers with regard to some questions/queries in relation to the same.

The Commission is of the view that the reply dated 15.5.2012 provides adequate information to the appellant, various points of the RTI application are in the nature of queries which do not fall under the ambit of RTI Act, 2005. However, the respondent is advised dispose of the RTI application/s within a time bound manner.

The appeal is disposed off accordingly with the above said observations.
