1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Regulation may be called the West Khandesh Mehwassi Estates (Proprietary Rights Abolition, etc.) Regulation, 1961.(2)It extends to the territory of the Mehwassi Estates in the Dhulia District of the State of Maharashtra.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
