Section 8(1) in Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University Act, 1999
(1)The State Government shall have the right to 'station cause an inspection to be made, by such person or persons as it may direct, of the University or any college or study centre maintained by the University including its buildings, libraries, laboratories, workshops and equipments and also of the examinations, teaching and other work conducted or done by the University or such college or study centre or to cause an inquiry to be made in the like manner in respect of any matter connected with the administration and finances of the University or such college or such centre.
