Section 117(1) in The Calcutta Improvement Act, 1911
(1)No payment shall be made by the [Imperial Bank of India] [Words substituted by Ben. Act 1 of 1939.] [or other bank referred to in section 115] [Words and figures inserted by W.B. Act 32 of 1955.] out of the account referred to in section 115, except upon a cheque.
