Section 41 in The Tamil Nadu Apartment Ownership Rules, 1997
41. Use of family units internal changes. - (1) All the units shall be utilized, only for the purpose approved by the competent authority.
(2)An owner shall not carry any structural modification or alternation or installation located therein, in his unit without notifying the association in writing. The Association shall have the obligation to answer with in thirty days and failure to do so shall mean that there is no objection to the proposed modification or alternation or installation.
